It uses Google Gemini AI to summarize, explain, simplify, and answer questions about any document — payslips, medical documents, legal papers, PDFs, Word files, and images. It's free to download with 5 analyses per day on the free plan.

Download Simplifier from the App Store (free). Open the app and tap '+' to add content — paste text, take a photo of a document, or upload a file. Then choose your analysis mode: Summarize, Explain, Simplify, or Ask. Results appear in seconds. No account or sign-up required.

Simplifier supports: text (paste or type directly), photos and camera (take a photo of any document), PDF files (.pdf), Word documents (.docx), and images (JPG, PNG, WebP). You can also share documents directly from other apps using the iOS Share Sheet — from Mail, Safari, Files, and most other apps.

No, Simplifier requires an internet connection to process documents through Google Gemini AI. The connection is only used during analysis — no data is stored after processing. A Wi-Fi or cellular data connection is needed for each analysis.

Cancel anytime through your iPhone: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Simplifier → Cancel Subscription. Your subscription continues until the end of your current billing period — you won't lose access immediately. You can also manage subscriptions through the App Store.

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. You won't be charged until after the trial period ends. To avoid any charge, cancel before the trial ends. The free trial is only available to users who haven't previously subscribed to a paid Simplifier plan.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not Simplifier directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com within 14 days of purchase and select the transaction. We support Apple's standard refund policy and won't dispute reasonable refund requests.

No. Simplifier does not store your documents or analysis results on any server. Documents are sent to Google Gemini AI for processing and the result is returned directly to your device. After analysis, we have no copy of your content — it's gone. We never have access to what you analyze.

We do not sell or share your document content with any third parties. The only external service involved in document processing is Google Gemini API, which follows Google's privacy policies. We may collect anonymous usage analytics (not content) to improve the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

No. Simplifier requires no account, no email address, and no personal information. Download and start using it immediately. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID — we never see your personal details or payment information.

Ensure your PDF is not password-protected. PDFs that contain only scanned images (image-only PDFs with no selectable text) may have limited text extraction — for best results, try taking a photo of the document instead. The file size limit is 10MB. If problems persist, contact support@simplifierai.org.

AI analysis can occasionally make errors, especially with unusual document formats or highly specialized content. Try: breaking large documents into smaller sections, using a different analysis mode (e.g., Ask with a specific question instead of Summarize), or taking a clearer photo if using camera input. Simplifier is currently available on iPhone only (iOS 16 and later). iPad support is planned for a future update. Android is not currently supported, but you can use the web demo at simplifierai.org/app/ on any device.
