By downloading, installing, or using the Simplifier application ("App," "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users on the free plan and paid subscribers.
Simplifier is an iOS application that uses artificial intelligence (powered by Google Gemini) to analyze, summarize, explain, and simplify text documents. The App supports text input, photo capture, and file uploads (PDF, Word .docx) depending on your subscription tier.
The Service is intended for personal, informational use. AI-generated analysis should not be considered professional legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Always consult a qualified professional for important decisions.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Simplifier. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Simplifier does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use the basic features of the App. Subscription management is handled by Apple through your Apple ID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and device.
The free plan allows up to 5 document analyses per day. Free plan users have access to text input only.
Paid subscription plans ("Premium") are available as follows:
All paid plans include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Premium features include unlimited analyses, PDF and Word file support, and camera/photo input.
New subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be charged for the subscription. You can only use the free trial once per Apple ID per subscription type.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your iPhone's Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Simplifier. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused subscription time.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are unable to process refunds ourselves.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide reasonable advance notice of any price changes. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.
You agree to use Simplifier only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain all ownership rights to documents you submit to Simplifier. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process that content solely to provide you with the analysis service. We do not claim any rights over your documents beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.
The App, including its design, code, text, graphics, user interface, and all other elements, is owned by Simplifier and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our express written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that: (a) the App will be uninterrupted or error-free; (b) AI-generated results will be accurate, complete, or reliable; (c) the App will be available at any particular time or location.
AI-generated analysis is inherently imperfect. Always verify important information with a qualified professional.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SIMPLIFIER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Simplifier and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
The App uses Google Gemini AI for document analysis. Your use of the App is also subject to Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services integrated with the App.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, particularly if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if that fails, through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
